Ghanaian 'witch doctor' claims he cursed Harry Kane before England clash

A Ghanaian traditional healer, Nana Kwaku Bonsam, says he has cast a spell on England captain Harry Kane ahead of the teams' meeting at the 2026 World Cup. In an interview with the Daily Star, he said, "I am working on Kane this time" and added that he knows "what I need to do to stop him." He said he is widely known for his predictions and claimed he can help Ghana by limiting Kane's ability to play.

Bonsam said he does not wish Kane a serious injury, only enough to keep him out of the match against Ghana. "I will do my job so that you can help Ghana," he said.

He also repeated a previous claim that he caused Cristiano Ronaldo's injury before the 2014 World Cup, saying it affected Ronaldo's performance and contributed to Portugal's early exit from the group stage. He noted that Ghana was also eliminated in the group stage that year.

Bonsam argued the injury was spiritual and said doctors could never cure it. "They will never be able to see what causes it, because it is spiritual," he said.
