Syrian Man Threatens Mass Murder, 'New October 7th' During Online Live Stream

Days before the third anniversary of the October 7th Hamas attack, an Israeli journalist reported engaging in online live streams with individuals from Arab countries, during which he received direct threats. Following a previous encounter with a Gazan who threatened a "new October 7th" and spoke of kidnapping Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the journalist this time interacted with a Syrian man.

The Syrian individual escalated the conversation to explicit threats against the journalist and his family, stating, "First I will murder your children, I will torture them, and after that I will kill you." He further claimed that they would forcibly enter Israel and slaughter Jews, mirroring the October 7th attack. When questioned about how they would enter Israel given border security, the Syrian responded, "Like we entered on October 7th." He also stated that if he encountered a Jew nearby, he would "slaughter him with a knife."

Later in the live stream, individuals from Israel also joined. One participant spoke about Israeli soldiers in Gaza, claiming they returned with psychological trauma and were using medication to cope. This individual also asserted, "We see you are cowards. We will kill you all and do a new October 7th to you."

Towards the end of the broadcast, a young man from Gaza joined. When asked about his situation and then directly if they intended to carry out another October 7th attack, he responded with the word "Inshallah" (God willing).

The journalist expressed concern that three years after the massacre, individuals are openly discussing the slaughter of Jews, incursions into Israel, and further attacks. He acknowledged that he cannot verify the identities or claims of everyone who joins his live streams but stressed the importance of listening to such explicit threats, especially after the events of October 7th.
