Iran's army has outlined potential scenarios for a new phase of conflict with the United States in the region, according to army spokesman Mohammad Akraminia. Separately, the head of the National Iranian Oil Company, Hamid Bord, revealed that Iran has received intelligence regarding potential preparations for strikes against its oil infrastructure. These potential measures could include direct attacks, sanctions, or a naval blockade.

This comes after Iran's authorities declared on Sunday, September 27, their readiness to resolve conflicts with the U.S. and Israel solely through diplomatic means. This statement followed a perceived lack of response from President Donald Trump to an earlier proposal from Tehran.

Iranian officials have noted discrepancies between President Trump's public statements and signals received through diplomatic channels. Earlier reports indicated that Trump rejected Tehran's proposal for a seven-day ceasefire and, according to media, informed aides of plans to resume strikes against Iran after the November midterm elections.
