Hamas Flag and Dummy Explosive Device Found Near Mount Baal Hazor
An explosive device attached to a Hamas flag was discovered on an access road near Mount Baal Hazor in the Benjamin region overnight. Police officers from the Benjamin station, along with bomb disposal technicians from the Border Police (Magav) and IDF forces, were dispatched to the scene.
After securing the area, the bomb disposal experts conducted a controlled explosion of the suspicious object. It was subsequently determined to be a dummy explosive device.
The police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. This discovery follows a series of similar events in the West Bank in recent months, where suspicious objects and dummy explosives have been found on roads and in populated areas.
