Religious Zionist Rabbis Gather for Annual Torah Celebration
The 13th annual "Kabbalat Panai Rabo" (Greeting the Rabbi) event for Religious Zionist rabbis is scheduled to take place this evening, Sunday, October 1st, the intermediate day of Sukkot, at the Binyanei Ha'uma convention center in Jerusalem. Organized by the "Derech Eretz" Rabbis Organization in cooperation with the Jerusalem Municipality and the Ministry of Settlement Affairs, the event is expected to draw hundreds of rabbis from across Israel, including city rabbis, judges, yeshiva deans, and community rabbis. Thousands of participants are also anticipated to attend this central gathering honoring Torah study.
The evening's program begins at 6:30 PM with a special assembly featuring Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, Rabbi Dudi Dudkowitz, and other prominent rabbis. The main ceremony, dedicated to the honor of Torah, commences at 8:00 PM and will include musical performances by singer Naftali Kempa and the Ahalele band, led by Yiddia Klein.
This annual event, initiated and managed by the Derech Eretz Rabbis Organization, serves to unite and uplift the Religious Zionist rabbinate and the wider public.
