Palestinian Authority Begins Candidate Registration for November Elections

The Central Elections Commission of the Palestinian Authority has announced the commencement of candidate registration for the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for November 28. The registration process, which is being conducted in both the West Bank and Deir al-Balah in the Gaza Strip, will continue until 4:00 PM on October 7. Candidates will register as part of lists, rather than as individuals. Each list must include between 16 and 132 candidates and ensure female representation. Following the submission of documents, a thorough vetting process for all candidates will take place.
