Johnny Depp Caught Eating Artificial Plants at Las Vegas Event

Hollywood star Johnny Depp, 63, caused a stir online after a peculiar video emerged from an event in Las Vegas last weekend. During an after-party for his rum brand, Three Hearts, at the Park MGM hotel as part of the Drink Las Vegas events, Depp was filmed interacting with decorative artificial greenery.

In the footage, Depp, dressed in dark clothing and a wide-brimmed brown hat, posed for photographers while holding a drink. At one point, he approached the backdrop covered in artificial plants, buried his face in the foliage, and appeared to take a bite. He then spat out the leaf but returned for another "bite," this time smiling at the cameras with two leaves protruding from his mouth.

This unusual behavior comes shortly after Depp enjoyed a more conventional meal at the Shanghai restaurant of Israeli chef Shahaf Shabtai. Depp visited Shabtai's Mess Restaurant, where he also serves as the chef for Arkia Airlines and Tel Aviv's Pop & Pop restaurant. The meal was held in honor of Depp's art exhibition at the MAM Shanghai museum, where the restaurant is located.

Following the dinner, Depp summoned Chef Shabtai, praised his cooking, and expressed interest in having him prepare future meals. The article humorously suggests Shabtai might consider adding some leaves to the menu next time.
