Russian Drone Attack Hits Kyiv, Damaging Infrastructure and Causing Fatalities

Russian forces launched a drone attack on Kyiv on the evening of Saturday, September 26, 2026, with air raid sirens sounding multiple times throughout the night. As of 7:30 AM, Ukrainian air defenses had reportedly shot down or suppressed 147 enemy drones. However, impacts were recorded at 18 locations, and debris from downed drones fell at 8 others.
