Worker Critically Injured by Falling Object at Rishon Lezion Factory
A man in his 40s was seriously injured on Monday when he was struck by a heavy object while working at a factory in the western industrial zone of Rishon Lezion. Paramedics from Magen David Adom treated the worker, who was found in a confused state with a head injury, before transporting him to Wolfson Hospital.
"The workers led us to the injured man who was in a confused state after being hit by a heavy object during his work," said MDA paramedic Shmuel Borzikovsky. "We provided him with medical treatment and evacuated him in an intensive care ambulance to the hospital in serious condition."
The incident occurred during the worker's shift, and the specific circumstances leading to the object falling are under investigation. The factory is located in the industrial area west of Rishon Lezion, a city in central Israel.
