Eisenkot Rules Out Ra'am Party From Future Netanyahu Government

Gadi Eisenkot, head of the Yishai party, announced Saturday evening that the Ra'am party will not be part of the government he leads. His remarks came just hours before a meeting of the "Change Bloc" party leaders. Eisenkot stated that Arab and Haredi parties do not meet the four conditions he set two months prior for joining the government. These conditions include recognizing Israel as a Jewish and democratic state, adhering to the Declaration of Independence, committing to public service, and acknowledging Hamas as a terrorist organization that must be eliminated.

In response to Eisenkot's statements, Yoav Segalovich, second on the "President" list, asserted that anyone wishing to lead Israel toward genuine change must demonstrate real leadership and resist the Likud party's intimidation tactics. He emphasized Israel's need for deep reforms and true partnership through courageous leadership, adding that Eisenkot cannot form a government without "the President."
