Activist Yoseph Haddad Travels to Hungary for Israel-Ireland Soccer Match Amid Controversy

Yoseph Haddad, an Israeli advocacy activist and candidate for the 'Am Israel' party, has traveled to Debrecen, Hungary, to attend the upcoming soccer match between Israel and Ireland. The trip comes amid heightened political tension and aggressive statements from Irish officials regarding the match. Earlier on Saturday, Irish national team players and officials called for a boycott of the game against Israel, with some accusing Israel of genocide.

Despite the calls for a boycott, the Irish team ultimately decided to proceed with the match. However, some players intend to avoid shaking hands with the Israeli team and plan to wear black armbands. Haddad plans to wear a t-shirt featuring a QR code that links to a video detailing atrocities, aimed at Irish fans to expose what he describes as the truth about who committed genocide.

Haddad emphasized that the event transcends sports, calling it a crucial advocacy battle for Israel's global image. He stated, "When the Irish try to create provocations, boycott, and spread a one-sided and false narrative, it is imperative that we be there to present solid truths." He added that he travels wherever there is a national advocacy mission to proudly represent Israel.

The 'Am Israel' party issued a statement affirming Haddad's continued vigorous efforts on the international stage to ensure Israel's voice is clearly heard, even in challenging environments.
