Singer Moishe Davidovitch Releases 'Moishe's Ushpizin' Project Ahead of Sukkot

Singer Moishe Davidovitch has launched a unique musical project titled 'Moishe's Ushpizin' in anticipation of the Sukkot holiday. The project features a special music video that reimagines classic Sukkot holiday melodies with a completely new musical approach, described by the concept 'a new vessel filled with old.'

The project, curated by Nuti Rotman, presents a diverse playlist of familiar songs with rich and surprising arrangements, elevating the traditional tunes to a modern and catchy sound. Davidovitch is joined by singers Avi Lerner and Mendy Goldberg, along with the Capella choir, creating a musical experience that blends the warmth and tradition of holiday melodies with contemporary energy.

The musical direction was handled by maestro David Fink from Belgium, who also executed the arrangement and orchestration. The musical production was overseen by Laivi Fink, and the vocal arrangement was done by Nuti Rotman. The collaboration aims to produce a high-quality, unique result by combining Davidovitch's vocal talents with professional arrangements.

The project is accompanied by a high-quality video depicting holiday scenes, with a precise script designed to immerse viewers in the Sukkot atmosphere. The directing, editing, and color grading were done by Hershy Segal, with cinematography by Naftali Kahana and David Orian. Technical production was managed by Beni Barzel, and the cover art was designed by Zeira.

This release joins a recent wave of new musical works appearing before Sukkot. Yoeli Davidovitch released his debut album 'Clouds,' featuring five songs dedicated to holiday joy, and Yanki Rosenbaum released an energetic single titled 'Olu Ushpizin,' arranged by Yeedele Alter. Moishe Davidovitch's new video offers a visual and musical experience connecting directly to the holiday's joy, merging tradition with modern sound, intended as a special gift to the public to bring the holiday spirit into every home.
