Russian Drone Strike Kills Israeli Teenager in Kyiv
A 14-year-old Israeli citizen was killed and his mother severely injured in a Russian drone attack on a residential building in Kyiv on the morning of September 25. Six other people were also wounded in the strike, which hit a building in the central part of the Ukrainian capital, not far from the Israeli embassy.
Israel's consulate in Kyiv and the Foreign Ministry's department for assisting Israeli citizens immediately contacted the victim's family and are providing necessary support. Eyewitnesses reported that the attack caught residents by surprise. One resident stated that air raid sirens did not sound, and people heard a dull explosion before running into the corridor. Another resident initially did not realize their building had been directly hit.
