Titi Aynaw Shares Emotional Reflections on Motherhood and Gratitude

Israeli model Titi Aynaw, who was crowned Miss Israel in 2013, recently appeared on the "Walla Personal" podcast where she discussed the profound emotions she experienced in the days following childbirth. Aynaw shared that after giving birth, she felt a strong desire for her own mother, highlighting the deep connection between mothers and children. She expressed immense gratitude for the ability to wake up each day and care for her children, calling these simple acts "small miracles."

Aynaw became visibly emotional, wiping away tears as she explained, "It excites me so much because it's not a given at all." She reflected on how daily life can distract people from appreciating these fundamental experiences. The former beauty queen, who has always dreamed of being a mother, acknowledged that she didn't know what kind of mother she would be, suggesting this uncertainty stemmed from a sense of "lack."

Aynaw, born in Ethiopia, immigrated to Israel in 2003 with her older brother after their parents passed away. She was raised in Netanya and attended a religious youth village for high school. Following her military service, she entered the Miss Israel competition, becoming the first woman of Ethiopian descent to win the title. In 2013, she represented Israel at the Miss Universe pageant.

Aynaw became engaged to businessman Tzachi Frankel in March 2022. The couple has two children, with their second son, Oz, born in December 2025.
