Israeli Teen Soccer Prospect Orien Goren Valued at Half a Million Euros

Orien Goren, a 17-year-old Israeli soccer player, has received his first career valuation from the website Transfermarkt, which estimates his worth at 500,000 euros. Goren has impressed in the preseason with Barcelona's senior team and has become a key player for their reserve squad under coach Giuliano Battisti. Despite the high praise he has received in Spain, his valuation places him sixth in the reserve team and fourth among the current season's squad members, excluding loaned players.

Other young talents at Barcelona have higher valuations. The highest-rated is 16-year-old attacking midfielder Abima Tonkara, valued at 5 million euros. Following him are Mirza Katovic, currently on loan to Stuttgart and valued at 4 million euros, and Juan Hernandez, valued at 2 million euros. Jessa Bisio is valued at 800,000 euros, and Patricio Pacifico, loaned to Defensor Sporting in Uruguay, is valued at 650,000 euros.

Recently, Goren was called up for the first time to Israel's U-21 national team squad, managed by Guy Luzon. The team is set to play Slovenia and Norway in upcoming Euro qualifiers.
