Man Suffers Severe Burns from Boiling Oil in Jerusalem Suburb
A 26-year-old man sustained severe burns after boiling oil spilled on him while he was working at a business in Ramat Beit Shemesh, a Haredi neighborhood in the Jerusalem area. The incident occurred on Habakuk HaNavi Street.
Paramedics from Magen David Adom and the "Tzevet Hatzala" (Rescue Team) responded to the scene late at night. They found the man conscious and suffering from extensive second-degree burns on his upper body. Witnesses reported that the oil spilled on him during his work.
Rescue teams provided initial medical treatment for the burns at the scene. The man was then evacuated in moderate condition to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer for further treatment.
