Light Rain Expected in Parts of Israel During Sukkot Holiday

Light, local rain is forecast for parts of Israel on Friday, the first day of the Sukkot holiday, but is expected to cease by the evening. The Israeli Meteorological Service predicts partly cloudy to clear skies for Friday, with a chance of light drizzle or local showers along the coastal plain, particularly the southern part. Temperatures will remain seasonable.

Overnight Friday and into Saturday, the first day of Sukkot, skies are expected to be clear to partly cloudy. Saturday itself will also see clear to partly cloudy conditions, with a slight drop in temperatures. The weather will remain pleasant for the holiday.

Looking ahead to the intermediate days of Sukkot (Chol Hamoed), Sunday is forecast to be clear to partly cloudy with no significant temperature changes. Monday, however, will bring partly cloudy skies and a slight rise in temperatures, with intermittent light local rain expected in the north.
