Five-Year-Old Girl Hospitalized After Scorpion Sting in Negev
A five-year-old girl was taken to Soroka Hospital on Tuesday evening after apparently being stung by a yellow scorpion in the city of Dimona, in the Negev region. Her condition was described as moderate.
Magen David Adom reported that its 101 emergency center in the Negev received a call at 10:04 PM regarding a girl brought to a local clinic in Dimona after the scorpion sting.
A medical team from Magen David Adom arrived at the clinic, provided the child with initial first aid, and then transported her to Soroka Hospital for further medical treatment. The child exhibited signs of a sting, and her condition was assessed as moderate before she was transferred to the hospital.
