Reality TV Rivals Reunite at Bat Mitzvah Celebration

Reality television stars Gal Rubin and Hodaya Cohen, once prominent rivals on "Big Brother," put their past conflicts aside to celebrate the bat mitzvah of Rubin's twin daughters. The event, held at "HaChatzer HaAchorit" in Hod Hasharon, was attended by family and a host of Israeli celebrities, including Elkanah Marciano, Daniel Tzioni, and Tiltil.

Cohen's surprise appearance drew significant attention, especially given her previous critical remarks about Rubin after her own elimination from the show. In an interview with Romy Geyor, Cohen had stated, "Some came for reality, for the truth, and some came for the show. Gal Rubin came for the show. I felt something wasn't authentic to me." She also expressed relief at her early departure, saying, "If I had stayed, I would have broken. Literally. God took me out when I needed to go out."

Despite the on-camera tensions and Rubin's reputation as a controversial reality figure, her daughters' bat mitzvah saw Rubin's ex-husband, Daniel Mordechai, and other "Big Brother" contestants like Omer Zipori, Shelly Sabrianiakov, Adir Barak, Koran Hatucha, Ben Ozalbo, and Dor Hamu in attendance. The gathering demonstrated that the dramatic narratives of reality television often remain separate from personal relationships off-screen.

Rubin is also remembered for her past high-profile relationship with Modi Sfori, a participant from "The Race for the Million."
