Rami Levy Details Egalitarian Salary System for His Children

Businessman Rami Levy, the controlling owner of the "Rami Levy Hashikma Marketing" supermarket chain, "Rami Levy Communications," "Cofix" cafes, "Israir" airlines, and "Rami Levy Real Estate," recently appeared on Channel 13's "Asnaheim" program. During the interview, Levy discussed his children's involvement in the supermarket chain and his unique approach to their compensation.

Levy explained that while his daughters, Rina and Yafit, work in different capacities within his business empire, he ensures they receive equitable financial outcomes. He stated that if one daughter earns less than another, he supplements her income from his own funds to ensure parity. "The children receive equal shares in the end," Levy asserted, adding, "If one daughter earns, say, 100 shekels and the second daughter earns 70 shekels, and if it's necessary to complete it to 100 shekels... I am in a position today where I can do it without a problem. I give her from my own."

When asked by interviewer Omri Asnaheim how he manages this without his daughters needing to explicitly ask for more money, Levy revealed his intimate knowledge of their financial situations. "She doesn't need to tell me, we know everything. I see what's happening with her at home, what she earns and what she doesn't earn," Levy said. He emphasized that as they all work within the family's companies, "no one will be deprived."

Rami Levy is married to Adina, who serves as the treasurer for "Rami Levy Hashikma Marketing," and they have four children. His eldest daughter, Yafit Levy-Attias, owns the fashion chain "Yafiz Fashion," a subsidiary of "Rami Levy Hashikma Marketing," and is slated to become CEO of the parent company in 2025. His daughter Rina Levy-Tangji manages the boutique hotel "Luski" in Tel Aviv, which Levy acquired.
