Israeli Navy Reaches New Capabilities with Sixth Submarine Arrival
The Israeli Navy has reached "new heights" with the arrival of its sixth submarine, the INS Drakon, according to Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, Chief of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Speaking at a ceremony marking the submarine's arrival, Zamir stated that the vessel enhances the navy's capabilities, making it "more stealthy, longer-range, deeper, and deadlier."
Zamir also addressed the ongoing situation in Iran, noting that Israel continues to closely monitor Iran and its associated armed groups. "Even today, we continue to monitor closely what is happening in Iran and among its puppets. The Iranian regime is wounded and battered, but has not changed its intentions," the IDF Chief of Staff said.
