BYD, Sno, and Yotvata Ads Top Israeli Recall and Favorability Rankings
New advertising campaigns from Bank Leumi, Phoenix Smart, and Harel Insurance are leading in recall and favorability among Israeli consumers, according to recent data. Bank Leumi's multi-lingual campaign, featuring actor Gal Toren as a national explainer, secured the top spot in recall for the second consecutive week. The campaign humorously observes Israeli culture from an outsider's perspective.
Phoenix Smart's long-running campaign, starring Yuval Semo as a taxi driver named Asher from the satirical show 'Eretz Nehederet,' remains the most favored advertisement. This iteration focuses on travel insurance for the holiday season, with Asher encountering humorous versions of himself and offering advice on travel destinations.
Competitor Harel Insurance also saw its travel insurance ad, featuring comedian Lior Dudvany, climb to fourth place in recall. The ad depicts Dudvany remaining calm in stressful situations due to his insurance coverage.
Two brands, Sno and Yotvata, re-entered the top rankings after incorporating content creators into their campaigns. Sno's ad, featuring popular creator Kobi Adri, promotes a drain cleaner, while Yotvata's campaign, with Uri Vered, launches its vegan chocolate milk.
In terms of advertising expenditure, the streaming platform Free TV by Keshet led this week with an investment of approximately 2.3 million shekels in subscriber acquisition ads. The Jewish Agency followed with a campaign encouraging support for Israel, and the Central Elections Committee promoted voting in the upcoming Knesset elections.
