Reality television personality and influencer Bar Cohen has publicly criticized former contestants of the Israeli version of "Big Brother," accusing them of excessive victimhood. The controversy erupted following harsh online comments directed at recent "Big Brother" stars, including Rafaela Twina, with insults like "ugly bitch" and "grasshopper with a wig." Cohen, who was the runner-up in the 2022 season, responded via an Instagram story, set to the song "They Ate Me, They Drank Me" by Sarit Hadad, a phrase often used to express feeling wronged.

Cohen argued that the former contestants should not complain about public backlash, stating, "Stop with the 'they ate me, they drank me.' You all know I liked and still like all of you. Where did you think you were going? Enough already." She contrasted their experience with her own season, suggesting that if contestants from her season had faced similar online abuse, they would have had to hide. "You came out of 'Big Brother'! You are loved most of the time, making a living with dignity. Not everyone likes you? That's life," she added.

Further emphasizing the need for perspective, Cohen told the former contestants to understand the weight of fame. "You are not a consensus, neither am I. That's okay, and this is Israel," she stated. "What will people with real troubles in life say? Silence. Enough, for God's sake, it's tiring. Crying all day. Come on," she concluded, directly referencing the insults by saying, "...you're a grasshopper? No."
