Nadborna Rebbe Prepares Passover Matzah for Passover

The Nadborna Hasidic dynasty in Jerusalem concluded the Ten Days of Repentance and the holy day of the year under the leadership of their Rebbe. The celebrations included the "Tashlikh" prayer, the ritual slaughter of a rooster at dawn, and a special "Mekalkel Hayim" Tish (a Hasidic gathering with singing and blessings) on the eve of Yom Kippur.

A unique custom was observed on the afternoon before Yom Kippur, when the Rebbe personally prepared the wax candles for the "Life Candles" ceremony before the Mincha prayer. This ceremony is a significant part of the preparations for the holy day.

Another highlight occurred after Yom Kippur, during the Havdalah ceremony, the only time of year the Rebbe leads the ritual for the entire congregation in the main prayer hall. Following the "Kiddush Levanah" (Sanctification of the Moon) ceremony after the holiday, the Rebbe led a joyous Tish with music and song.
