Moshe Feiglin's Gaza Border Tour Cut Short Amid Sniper Fire Fears

A tour by candidates of the 'Zeut' party in the Gaza border region was abruptly ended on Sunday due to security concerns, including fears of sniper fire. The delegation, led by party chairman and Knesset member Moshe Feiglin, was near the border fence when security forces instructed them to leave immediately.

Security forces declared the area a closed military zone, citing heightened security sensitivity and the threat of sniper fire originating from the Gaza Strip. The participants were compelled to evacuate despite the tour taking place entirely within sovereign Israeli territory, not beyond the fence or in any restricted zone.

Feiglin commented on the incident, stating, "Three years after October 7th, public leaders and Knesset candidates are required to back down from sovereign Israeli land under the claim of a 'closed military zone' and due to fears of shooting threats from the Strip." He criticized the current leadership, asserting that the inability of Israeli citizens to stand safely in the Gaza border region demonstrates the failure of their policies. Feiglin concluded, "This is not what absolute victory looks like, this is the appearance of a surrender mentality. Whoever does not decide, conquer, expel, and settle, continues to flee from threats within his own home. It's time to win!"
