Border Police Officers Investigated for Alleged Car Theft

Three Border Police officers are under investigation on suspicion of stealing a car, using it without authorization, and abusing their authority during a patrol in the Jerusalem area. According to our correspondent Nawaf Al-Nabari, the officers noticed a parked car with keys inside during their patrol. They then took the vehicle without any legal permission, causing damage to nearby cars before abandoning it without reporting the incident to their superiors. The car has not yet been recovered.

Following the investigation, the three officers were released under restrictive conditions, including a 15-day ban from police facilities. Investigations are ongoing and are being conducted by the Police Investigation Unit in Jerusalem.
