Kobi Oz Reveals Election Choice, Ranks Parties

Israeli singer, creator, and presenter Kobi Oz has revealed his voting intentions and ranked various political parties ahead of the upcoming elections. Oz announced that for the first time in his life, he plans to vote for the "Achva" party, led by Naftali Bennett.

Oz praised Bennett as "a fox" with "heart in the right place, sensitive and decisive," noting his ability to connect with the public and his "people of lions" leadership style. He described Bennett's party as "plug and play," professional, and ready to work from day one. Oz also commended the "Yesh Atid" party, calling its members "talented and diligent parliamentarians" and its leader Yair Lapid "a noble soul," appreciating their "brotherhood alliance" and strong performance.

In his ranking, Oz placed the "Yahadut HaTorah" party last at number 13, stating he would not vote for them. The Likud party, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, was ranked ninth. Oz explained his low placement for Likud, citing Netanyahu's leadership as contributing to a "reprehensible norm of not resigning and not taking responsibility after a historic disaster." He criticized Netanyahu's political tactics, describing him as a destructive force that disintegrates everything around him, including his own party and allies.

Oz further elaborated on his criticism of Netanyahu, stating that the Likud party's failure to present an alternative leader was a "moral failure." He accused Netanyahu of lacking a vision beyond constant fear-mongering and conspiracies, and suggested that Likud members are victims of Netanyahu, representing "moral corruption and systematic bowing." Oz believes Likud members who did not remove Netanyahu from leadership have demonstrated a systematic bending and moral decay.
