Military Exercise Planned for Zikim Beach Area
The Israeli military announced that a training exercise will take place tomorrow morning in the Zikim Beach area, located within the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council. During the exercise, increased activity from security forces, vehicles, and naval vessels is expected. Residents may hear sounds of gunfire and explosions in the vicinity.
The military stressed that the exercise was pre-planned as part of the 2026 training program and that there is no concern of a security incident. The drill is intended to maintain operational readiness.
