Israeli Entertainment Couple Yael Bar Zohar and Guy Zu-Arets Forget Wedding Anniversary

Popular Israeli entertainment couple Yael Bar Zohar and Guy Zu-Arets, married since 2005, recently celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary in a surprising way: by forgetting it. Bar Zohar shared on Instagram that she noticed the date, September 22nd, on the calendar that morning and felt it was familiar, but was caught up in her busy schedule. Zu-Arets admitted he considered it just another day until they received a congratulatory text message from a family friend, which reminded them of the occasion.

The couple discovered their anniversary on the very evening they were scheduled to fly abroad for a trip together. Zu-Arets commented on the coincidence, stating, "There are no coincidences in the world, and even when we didn't know, we actually knew." Bar Zohar added that their "innocent forgetfulness" might be the secret to a long-lasting relationship.

This celebration comes shortly after the couple visited cemeteries to remember their deceased relatives, including Eli Baram, who was murdered in the October 7th Hamas attack. Friends of the couple noted their inspiring ability to find joy even during difficult times and wished them continued strength in their relationship.
