Amshinover Rebbe Concludes Yom Kippur Observance After Intense Prayer and Study

The Amshinover Rebbe concluded his Yom Kippur observance on Wednesday morning after three days of intense spiritual devotion. His activities began on Sunday evening with the pre-fast meal, followed by the Kol Nidrei prayer at 1:30 AM, during which he circled the sanctuary with a Torah scroll. Throughout the day, he led prayers, offered blessings to his followers, and delivered a two-hour lecture on the third chapter of Tractate Yoma, detailing the High Priest's service on Yom Kippur. After a brief rest, the Rebbe returned to the study hall at 2:30 PM for Torah reading and continued with the day's prayers, including Musaf and Mincha, with immense devotion. He sustained himself through the fast with an intravenous drip to maintain his strength. The Rebbe broke his fast after the concluding Ne'ilah prayer early Wednesday morning, following the Havdalah ceremony over a cup.
