Former Gaza Settlers Release New Anthem Ahead of Return March

Veterans of the former Israeli settlement of Nisanit in the Gaza Strip, along with the 'Nachala' movement, have released a new music video for the "Nisanit Anthem." The song's lyrics have been updated with a new verse by original lyricist Amalia Avin'am, expressing a desire to return to the land. The updated verse reads, "We heard your call from your beautiful homeland, we yearn to bless your good land... We are now returning with longing to you, accept with love your sons and daughters."

The music video features the "Children of Jerusalem" choir, along with former residents of Nisanit, settlement nucleus members, and their families. The release of the video coincides with preparations for an event called "Settlement Caravans on the Way to Gaza," organized by the Nachala movement.

This event is scheduled for Sunday, September 27th, the first day of the intermediate days of the Sukkot holiday. The plan is for convoys of vehicles to depart from dozens of locations across Israel, converging at the Yad Mordechai junction at 2:00 PM. From there, the convoys will proceed towards Nisanit, where a central rally and the erection of temporary dwellings, sukkot, are planned.
