First Families Settle New Israeli Outpost in West Bank

Twelve pioneering families have moved into the new Israeli settlement of "Mitzpe Eretz" in the eastern Benjamin region of the West Bank, located on the Alon Road between Rimanim and Kochav Hashahar. The families have occupied the first caravans, with dozens of children already residing in the nascent community. Mayaan Tiferet Azulai, who received the first caravan with her husband, expressed profound emotion about the move from Kochav Yaakov, calling the settlement her dream and a chance to participate in the growth of Israeli communities. While acknowledging some anxieties due to the lack of immediate amenities like schools, playgrounds, or a synagogue, Azulai remains optimistic about the future, envisioning a "stunning settlement."

Another resident, Moriah Roza, described her decision with her husband to join the settlement's core group as a "call from heaven." She explained their mission was not just to build a permanent home but to strengthen the founding group, emphasizing they were "following their hearts." Former Minister Uri Ariel, who attended the settlement's inauguration, encouraged the new residents to "start with all speed and increase the pace."
