Hezbollah Amasses Rockets Near Israel's Border, Sources Say

Hezbollah is reportedly preparing its missile capabilities for potential attacks against Israel, according to Lebanese military sources cited by the Emirati website Erem News. The organization has recently intensified the transfer of weaponry to areas west of the "yellow line," south of the Litani River. These shipments include precision rockets, air defense systems, weapons, and ammunition.

Sources suggest these actions are a response to Hezbollah's weakening ability to hold key strategic positions, particularly the Al-Taher hill area. This redeployment may indicate an intention to strike Israel. Hezbollah has also reportedly moved weapons depots and military equipment to the Ikleem al-Tuffah, Jabal al-Rayhan, and Jabal Safi regions. Some commanders have also relocated to these areas.

The reorganization aims to establish more secure rear positions, further from areas experiencing Israeli strikes. Unconfirmed reports indicate that some weapons removed from tunnels and abandoned positions, including from Al-Taher, have been moved to new sites in towns and villages, some near residential buildings and ruins. Hezbollah fighters have been deployed to guard these weapon caches during the relocation.

Previously, Hezbollah was described as having suffered a strategic defeat, though it denies this and does not accept responsibility for the consequences faced by Lebanon.
