Lulav Supplier Presents Holiday Offerings to Leading Rabbis

Eli Roseff, head of 'Roseff Lulavim,' conducted a special visit to the homes of prominent Israeli rabbis ahead of the Sukkot holiday. During these visits, Roseff showcased the unique qualities of the lulavim (one of the Four Species used in the Sukkot ritual) and received praise for their high standards and commitment to kashrut and the beautification of the commandment.

Roseff met with leading rabbinical figures including Rabbi David Landau, Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch, Rabbi Mordechai Sternbuch, Rabbi Matisyahu Bergman, Rabbi Shimon Shtainman, and Rabbi Ovadia Pried. He presented the unique cultivation process of the lulavim grown in the Bais She'an Valley, emphasizing strict rabbinical supervision and adherence to prohibitions against desecrating Shabbat. The rabbis commended Roseff's dedication to Shabbat observance and the meticulous care in cultivating the Four Species, calling it an exemplary model for all farmers involved in their growth.

During the visits, the rabbis expressed admiration for the specific methods employed by Roseff Lulavim, such as gentle cleaning with special sponges to preserve the lulavim's integrity without damaging delicate leaves. This year, Roseff Lulavim will manage the distribution network for the Rabbinical Council, delivering lulavim directly from the orchards to distribution points.

Direct supply from farmers ensures quality until close to the holiday and includes post-purchase support. Customers with defective lulavim can contact the service center for replacements. Distribution centers will be set up in Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, Beitar Illit, Beit Shemesh, and Haifa, with extended operating hours. The Rabbinical Council noted that pre-registration is not required; customers can visit a distribution point, select their Four Species, receive rabbinical guidance if needed, and complete their holiday purchases in one location.
