Taissia Zmolotsky has filed a police complaint against singer Eyal Golan and Ram Landes, one of the owners of Koda Communications, alleging illegal editing and distribution of a recorded conversation between her and another complainant, identified as N. The complaint, first reported Sunday on Kan News radio, accuses them of wiretapping and attempted extortion.
In recent days, a recording of a conversation between Zmolotsky and N circulated online. The two are among the women who complained against Golan in the "Games of Company" affair, and they say the conversation was recorded at Koda Communications studios about eight years ago. The exchange took place after they had been exposed to the conduct of investigators in the case, and they discussed filing a civil lawsuit after the case was closed for lack of evidence.
Zmolotsky says the recording includes statements attributed to her that she never said, including the claim that "a lot of money could come out of this." In the recording, the two are heard discussing acting together, with N saying that doing it together would give them more strength and Zmolotsky responding that they should proceed and that there is nothing to fear.
Landes denied any involvement, saying, "I have no connection to this event, I don't know who or what. It didn't come from me, and I certainly didn't distribute it." No response was provided yet from Golan. The leak comes about a month after the case was reopened, after the State Prosecutor's Office in May ordered additional investigation steps following appeals by Zmolotsky and N. Police then froze the follow-up investigation, surprising prosecutors, who demanded that it be completed by June 15.
