Smotrich Slams Lieberman's 'Value Loss' Over West Bank Control Ideas

Finance Minister and Minister in the Defense Ministry, Bezalel Smotrich, strongly criticized Avigdor Lieberman, chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu party. Lieberman had reportedly discussed the possibility of Jordan taking over security and administrative responsibility in the West Bank, including the potential establishment of battalions under Jordanian command.

Smotrich, speaking at the inauguration event for the settlement 'Metzukei Eretz' in the Benjamin region, called Lieberman's proposals "absurd but true." He characterized Lieberman's stance as a "value loss of those who were once part of the national camp but chose hatred over action."

Smotrich urged supporters to work hard in the coming month and a half to ensure a victory for the right-wing in the upcoming elections.
