Truck Overturns Near Kibbutz Gat, Driver Airlifted in Moderate Condition
A truck driver, approximately 40 years old, sustained moderate injuries this morning when his vehicle overturned on its side in an open area near Kibbutz Gat. The driver suffered multiple systemic injuries and was evacuated by an MDA-Hatzalah Air ambulance to Soroka Hospital.
The emergency services received the report of the accident at 10:52 AM. Paramedics and EMTs from MDA and United Hatzalah arrived at the scene and provided initial medical treatment to the driver before his evacuation.
"This was a truck that overturned on its side in an open area. We provided medical treatment to the truck driver, around 40 years old, and he was evacuated by helicopter to the hospital for further treatment, with his condition defined as moderate," stated district paramedic Ronen Gil and United Hatzalah EMTs Irit Ravid and Yossi Vorm.
