Mark Smith of West Ham Zone ranked the club's summer acquisitions, placing Solomon at the top with a score of 8 out of 10. Smith highlighted Solomon's prior experience in the Championship, noting his previous success with Leeds United and his ability to integrate well with West Ham. "He found a home at West Ham and will return to this form," Smith wrote, adding that Solomon has been instrumental in assisting Jarrod Bowen, contributing two goals and two assists. Smith concluded, "His start to the season is amazing, he is West Ham's best signing this summer."

In contrast, other signings received lower ratings. Four players were given a score of seven, while Adama Boiro received a score of 4.
