Sakhnin Captain Gantos Expected to Recover for Maccabi Tel Aviv Clash
Bnei Sakhnin's captain, Maroun Gantos, is expected to be fit for the upcoming match against league leaders Maccabi Tel Aviv following the international break. Gantos, a key defender, will receive a corticosteroid injection in his knee after experiencing pain and being substituted in the 42nd minute of the game against Hapoel Haifa. He has started all five of Sakhnin's opening league games this season.
The team, currently in tenth place with four points, secured their first win of the season against Ramat Gan Sport. The sole goal in that 1-0 victory was scored by debutant defender Leroy Owusu.
