New Cadets Swear Allegiance to Israeli Air Force in Kiryat Gat

A total of 182 new cadets from the ORT Aviation and Space school in Kiryat Gat took an oath of allegiance to the State of Israel and the Air Force last Thursday. The festive ceremony was attended by senior Air Force officials, ORT network management, representatives from the education system and local authority, and the cadets' families.

During the event, the cadets pledged their commitment to excellence, responsibility, discipline, and readiness for significant military service within the technological and operational systems of the Air Force. The ceremony featured performances by the school band and a ceremonial flag-guard unit.

Kiryat Gat Mayor Kfir Suissa, unable to attend in person, congratulated the students via a video message, praising the school's unique program that combines academic and professional studies with technological and Zionist education. Colonel 'A', head of the Air Force's Public Relations Department, also addressed the cadets, emphasizing their importance as the future generation who will lead the Air Force's operational and technological capabilities in the coming years.

Both the municipality and the ORT network extended their best wishes to the new recruits.
