Israeli Lawmaker Warns of Another October 7th Attack

Member of Knesset Oded Forer, chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu faction and former Minister of Agriculture, stated in a radio interview on Tuesday that Hamas is planning another October 7th-style attack. "We see them training," Forer said, referring to the militant group. He criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government, asserting that even after the October 7th massacre, which will be three years old in two weeks, Netanyahu continues to aid Gazan civilians by allowing trucks and fuel into the Strip, thereby strengthening Hamas.

Forer, speaking on Radio 103fm, described the current government as the most failed since the establishment of the state. He also commented on his party's standing in opinion polls, expressing confidence in an upcoming electoral victory for "the bloc of those who serve" over "the bloc of draft dodgers," despite not being swayed by poll numbers. He stated that on the ground, his party feels a significant shift is imminent, predicting a major win for their political bloc.
