Subliminal and Noam Yaakovson Release Unity Anthem Amid Election Fears

Rappers Subliminal (Kobi Shimoni) and Noam Yaakovson have released a joint single, "If You Are With Me," aiming to counter divisive rhetoric ahead of elections and foster mutual responsibility. The song, co-written and composed by the duo with Elnatan Shalom and produced by Eyal Mazig, blends Subliminal's rap with Yaakovson's Jewish roots and groove.

The artists stated the song is a clear stance against baseless hatred and in favor of mutual responsibility, emphasizing that "our differences are also our strength." Subliminal explained the song was inspired by hundreds of performances for soldiers and bereaved families since the war began. "The enemy doesn't care if you are religious or secular, right-wing or left-wing," he said, adding, "The biggest sin is to return to the discourse of October 6th. No one can defeat us when we are united."

Yaakovson added that the song serves as a reminder of the unity experienced during the initial days of the war, urging the public not to wait for another crisis. He noted, "Our entire tradition is built on disputes and different opinions. It's time we learned to be controversial, with immense love for the people of Israel and the State of Israel."
