An Israeli ultra-Orthodox man in his 70s was found confused on a train in the Antwerp area of Belgium. Fellow passengers noticed he was not in good condition and tried to speak with him to understand whether he needed help, but he spoke only Hebrew and could not communicate with them.
Police were called to the scene, and the man was taken to a hospital in the city. He was later transferred to a psychiatric hospital. According to people involved, he is not communicating and is not cooperating.
The Jewish community, together with local authorities, is now trying to determine how to bring him back to Israel.
