Widow Mourns Husband Killed in Terror Attack Near Neve Tzuf

Meirav Kron, the widow of Natanel Kron, who was killed in a Palestinian terror attack near the settlement of Neve Tzuf on the eve of Yom Kippur, eulogized him at his funeral. She described him as a devoted family man, emphasizing his deep respect for parents, even after his own had passed, by extending that honor to her parents.

Meirav recounted the events leading up to the attack, explaining that she and the children had gone to her parents' home. Natanel had convinced the children to stay behind, intending to go to the ritual bath (mikveh) and then join them after prayers and a meal, so he could finish preparing food. In his final moments, she stated, Natanel warned Yoav, expressing gratitude for his heroism in looking out for Yoav.

She further elaborated on Natanel's character, highlighting his deep involvement in their children's lives and his desire for family bonding, evidenced by a planned trip abroad. She remembered him as a quiet, modest, wise, and compassionate individual who aided those in need, concluding that she is slowly realizing the extent of his heroism and vowing to care for their family.
