Knesset to Tell High Court Repeat Vote on State Comptroller Is Unacceptable
The Knesset is expected to tell the High Court of Justice that it does not accept the proposal to hold a repeat election for state comptroller. The court floated the idea after Likud lawmakers were asked to photograph themselves during the secret ballot, in order to verify that they had voted for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s candidate, attorney Michael Ravilo.
The judges asked the Knesset to submit its response by Sunday.
