Iran's Revolutionary Guard Warns of Radical War Changes Amid New Threats

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) spokesperson, Hossein Mohabbi, declared on Monday that any future aggression against Iran would be met with fundamental shifts in the "geography of war" and the types of weapons employed. He indicated that Iran is prepared for a protracted conflict and intends to deploy novel weaponry that will "astonish the world."

Mohabbi emphasized that targets have changed, and new, previously unattacked objectives exist, threatening their engagement in any new war. He also asserted that Hezbollah and the Houthi movement are not Iranian proxies, stating they possess independent decision-making and political autonomy.

In contrast, Mohabbi characterized Israel as the sole regional proxy force serving American and European interests. He further claimed that American bases in the region have lost their ability to defend themselves, compelling the U.S. to relocate forces and equipment to more distant positions, which he deemed a significant failure.

Additionally, Mohabbi suggested that American intelligence centers, once considered inaccessible, have proven vulnerable following missile attacks. He concluded that American military technology has declined in the face of Iran's offensive and defensive capabilities.
