Iran Claims Most US Bases Near Its Territory Disabled by Attacks

A representative of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated on Monday, September 21, that the majority of American military bases situated around Iran have been rendered inoperable following Iranian missile and drone strikes. Hossein Mohabbi, the IRGC representative, asserted that all these bases were targeted by Iranian weaponry, leading to the disabling of most of them. He further claimed that the United States was compelled to relocate personnel and equipment to more distant sites, including the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. However, Mohabbi also indicated that these alternative locations are vulnerable. Mohabbi characterized the outcome of the conflict as a "historically humiliating defeat" for the United States and Israel, alleging that Washington lacked the courage to acknowledge it.
