Turkish Minister Warns Israel of Global Threat, Urges Peace

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that Israel poses a threat not only to the region but to the entire world, and warned that it will "pay the price" if it does not adopt a foreign policy based on peace, respect, and cooperation. He added that Turkey is not easily deceived by provocations and believes that a reciprocal response will be given as long as the situation persists. He expressed belief that the process will ultimately benefit the "oppressed Palestinians."
