Reality TV personality and former Big Brother contestant Yochi Apolion spent the weekend at the hospital with her young son after another medical emergency, instead of enjoying the beach or pool during the hot weather. She said the family had to evacuate to the hospital after she felt her “mother’s heart” race and knew something was wrong, posting a photo of her son on a stretcher in an ambulance.
Apolion later gave an update from the hospital room, saying, “If it were one centimeter more, we would already have needed surgery.” She said the boy was put in a cast and will need it removed in a week so doctors can check whether surgery will still be necessary. “I really hope not. God willing, thank God, this is behind us,” she wrote.
This is not the first time the family has faced a medical drama. A little over six months ago, her youngest son was bitten by a dog. The article also recalls that in October, while the children were with a babysitter outside the home, a passerby walked by with a dog, the boy tried to pet it, and the animal jumped on him and bit him in the face.
