IDF Arrests Terrorist Who Carried Out Deadly Shooting Attack in West Bank
The Israeli military (IDF) announced that its forces, guided by the Shin Bet security agency, have apprehended the individual responsible for a fatal shooting attack that occurred earlier in the day in the Benjamin region of the West Bank. The suspect has been identified as Qadri Samara, a resident of the village of Biddu, located north of Jerusalem near Givat Ze'ev.
Following the arrest, IDF forces raided Samara's home. His vehicle was also confiscated as part of the operation. The shooting attack took place in the settlement of Neve Tzuf, also known as Halamish.
In a separate incident, Palestinian sources reported that the IDF destroyed a Syrian army outpost near the Jandal Castle on Mount Hermon, close to the Syrian-Lebanese border, within the Damascus governorate. The outpost reportedly belonged to the Syrian army.
